Odd Arne's page
| Hello! My name is Odd Arne. I love to fish both in the sea and in small lakes and rivers. Through the pictures I have taken you can see my interest for the nature. I am a teacher and love to teach sports and learn kids to be out in the nature. The first picture is taken on the mainland by a small river full of trout! |

On our island the pupils go to school from the age of 6 to 16. With only a few in each class, I can take them out and study the nature instead of reading about it in a book. Here three of my students are studying a nest with eggs. |
| In Norway we are used to live from what the nature has given us. Today many boys and girls haven't learned how to catch fish with a net. Here we are out in my boat just outside our house trying to catch something to study and perhaps eat. | ![]() |

You can find a lot to eat on the beach if you know where to look for it. Some of our French guest found a lot of eatable shells not far from our house. |
| The view from our cottage on Tomma, one of our neighbour islands. In summer nights this has to be one of the best place on earth to stay and relax. | ![]() |

In winter we often have "a lot of weather". On the coast is it not as cold as on the mainland. But we often have wind. The colours of the sky can be fantastic and the sea can give you a lot of surprises. To be out in a storm can be fantastic. |
| I hope some of you will exchange with us and come to our home and experience some of this! Odd Arne |
